Huia Swimming Pool

Huia Pool is located in central Lower Hutt, approximately 5 minutes from Settlers Motor Lodge, and is a nationally acclaimed 25m indoor pool with a moveable floor, allowing for a range of water depths from 0.8m – 2.0m.

There is an indoor children’s and teaching pool with a beached area and an outdoor toddlers fun pool and playground.

The New Dowse in Lower Hutt is a place that inspires creativity – from multi-media to ceramics, fashion to photography, jewellery to sculpture, painting to furniture design and beyond. Check out its changing array of exhibitions, creative events, hands-on activities and workshops, destination cafe and shopette. It’s located at 45 Laings Road, Lower Hutt.
